Sneak Peek...

Here is a sneak peek of my new (HUGE) room!

Frogtastic Behavior board... Students will start on the first lily pad on Monday. If they stay on happy hopper all week they will hop to the pond and go to the treasure box.

Next to my behavior board I will post my POND Rules... Made by my awesome friend Megan!!!

My color display... It will be on the wall between my windows! This my favorite part of the room.

I'm BACK....

.... and teaching kindergarten in public school! Yay!!! I'm so excited! My new classroom is huge compared to my old room. I have lots of storage and cubbies and technology and a bathroom and and and... I could go on and on. I have awesome co-workers (who have already friended me on FB) and made me feel very welcome! I can't wait to meet them. I can't wait to start decorating!!! I can start moving on July 23... WAHOO!!! So... here is a look into my new world.

Two weeks!

Two weeks until we move to Pensacola. Ben is already there. I miss him soooo much! I've been packing this week and keeping busy looking for jobs. Praying for a classroom but I'll be happy subbing until I get another classroom. I'll keep you updated! : )

P.S... Do you have any suggestions or tips for a sub?

Job Update...

I haven't found anything yet. My husband and I have decided to move back to Florida and stay with my mom and dad until we can get established there. I plan to sub and tutor until I can find a permanent teaching job. I made some subtitute business cards on vistaprint.com to pass out to teachers.

Green Eggs and Ham Day

School's OUT for SUMMER!!!

This year has been great. I have learned soooo much over the past two years! The school I teach at is closing due to low enrollment. I am job hunting... I know GOD has a plan for me I am living by the scripture Jeremiah 29:11. I just have to trust and pray that everything will be OK and I will find another job.

 I love teaching!!! Please continue to pray for me.

7 1/2 more days!

Yep that's right... Only 7 1/2 days with my sweet little 1st and 2nd graders. I will miss them so much! Our school is closing at the end of this school year due to low enrollment.

I've been with these kids 2 years now and they have grown so much since I first met them. I too have grown as a teacher leaps and bounds. They have taught me A LOT about being a real teacher. I love every minute of it and wouldn't trade this experience for anything!!

Please pray for these kids as they make the transition into different schools. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers also as I search for a new job. I love teaching and couldn't picture myself doing anything else!!!
